Blink-182 is an iconic American punk rock band. Formed in the basements of Poway California in the 1990's, this band emerged to take the southern California punk scene by storm. The original band was founded by bass guitarist and vocalist Mark Hoppus, guitarist and vocalist Tom Delong and drummer Scott Raynor. Blink-182 quickly rose in popularity due to high-energy live shows and irreverent lyrical humor. Mark Hoppus is the only founding member of the band still playing, he is now joined by drummer Travis Barker and frontman Matt Skiba. The band has had an been monumental in the development of "Pop Punk" combining pop melodies with fast paced punk rock. The genre would not be the same without Blink-182 influence. The band has sold 13 million albumns in the United States and 50 million worldwide.
